Meet Clay and Lenell. Clay is an old friend of ours and I already consider Lenell a new friend. She's adorable. Seriously. This is another one of my Internet romance couples. I have been getting a few of those here lately..and I am starting to think there might be something to those "find your match" sites after all! LOL

This is probably one of my favorites. :)

This sweet couple was married in Ark City at 

First (American) Baptist Church. One of the things I love about this church is the balcony! Especially if I have a second shooter with me. :) Love the shots we can get from the balcony. 

Whenever I shoot a wedding I get a little nervous about lighting.

Ok..I'm lying. I get really NERVOUS. 

Because I have to find places to shoot in the middle of the day. 

Out of the sun.

Middle of day sun= bad photos

I was sooooo happy to see that it was overcast! Yea! :)

and yes. I did my "we're going to get amazing photos happy dance.".

The reception was held in the church gymnasium.

And if you ever want to get ideas on how to transform a gymnasium into a beautiful and stunning and wowza reception. You must talk to Lindsay. Gorgeous.

Wedding cake was gorgeous..I just love all of the sparkly! Grooms cake had Peanut Butter cups on it.This one gets me excited....I'm still not sure how I left the wedding without a piece. It looks Divine.

Jamie & Kyle Married

Jamie and Kyle's wedding was such a beautiful day. The sun was shining bright and glorious. (yep. Making it 104 degrees..whew!)

But it was so pretty. The colors that Jamie picked were perfect.

Beautiful and bold.

I loved all of the details, the peacock feathers and the candles.

Jamie is a sweetheart. Seriously, a beautiful person inside and out.

It's not surprise that Kyle is smitten with her.

She's a keeper. :)

Her dress was beautiful. Simplicity at it's best.

They both got ready at the Central Christian Church in Arkansas City, KS and then we  headed out to Jamie's grandparents' house for the First Look.

It was the perfect space too! As a natural light photographer..I am a big fan of outdoor pics...and this was a great spot to shoot! :)

So thankful that God gives me opportunities to meet great people.

It's all in God's timing, baby...

Life is crazy. It is. Really! Sometimes I am just overwhelmed with the knowledge that God, in his complete Goodness, cares about each and every one of us. He knows us. He knows our hearts' desires. He knows what is good for us. He is the perfect Father. The one we always wanted growing up to help us make the right decisions.

 (if you know me AT ALL..you know that I am anti-decisions. I hate them..I hate to make them...I am the person who stands an hour in front of the candy aisle..because I am afraid to make the wrong choice...Peanut butter..yep!..oh..but what if I am really craving Carmel and I get home and the pb doesn't hit the spot...oooooh decisions! lol :)

Well. God in his most perfect timing....knew Lindsay and Matt. He knew that Matt was living in California...and he needed time to move to Kansas..and all the things that go with making that decision a reality...He knew Lindsay and her love for music. God placed the desire in these two within a matter of days to register on an online Christian Dating site. While Matt knew he did not want to do any long distance dating..He set his for Christian ladies in Wichita only...not realizing he was about to miss out on the biggest blessing God was about to give him! Lindsay was registered in Ark City. (and if you know Ark City at all...you can't just limit to Ark City alone. lol). So as Lindsay was reading through the best matches for her profile. She came across Matt's. I know, right? God uses the Internet!!! lol..I love it! :) Of course..you guys can guess how this story is going to end... :)
